When decorators select the paint they usually use neutral colors and select designs both playful and serious. Usually the painted surface is the background for a very beautiful view or for an art collection which is why they should complete the room, complete the furnishing not take away the eye from the main attraction. This does not mean that paint is not important because it is. Nowadays people who paint use mostly red, grey and brown for lavishing interiors and white for a simple touch, bringing the view from outside inside.
White from a Malibu beach house
In a house where glass is used to capture the view the interior and the exterior go hand in hand. Whatever color you may pick for the interior it will not interfere with the blue coming from the sky and the sea. All the surfaces are painted white who are illuminated by the light coming from the window and the reflection of the sea. Because white it is used the landscape coming from outside does not interfere with relaxed atmosphere coming from this modern design.
Rich colors
If you want to accentuate your library you could paint your walls in a rich jewel tones or in chocolate brown. If you use red for your library it will give the sensation of warm in the winter and in the summer a certain vibration. Leave the wooden floor uncovered or cover it with using a red and blue carpet.
Blue is not a warm color like red is so try to experiment with the light coming from outside so as to avoid making your room appear cold. If you decide on the brown you should have brighter colors in the room such as a cream carpet or light shades of green.
Grays
All contemporary designs use neutral colors but that does not mean that we cannot play with colors. The color grey does not come in many shades and it is very versatile. It creates a very beautiful image when the light changes from day to night, it makes a very beautiful background or an art gallery and keeps modern designs from looking sterile. A great combination would be composed of metal chairs, gray linens and suedes and natural leather chair seats. For spectacular city views choose a soft grey to accentuate it along with soft grey drapes. For other types of gray using a blue velvet color for your armchairs and dining chairs will really spice things up.
