A bedroom is a place where you feel safe and most relaxed. Children but especially little girls want a space where they can get away from it all, a happy, light and personal space. You can turn your girl’s room with just a few feminine touches in a place she will be proud to call it her bedroom. It is now such a big problem you just have to pay attention to some details and you will be good to go.
The bed of a little girl is her central peace of the whole room so make sure you use light colors. Use pastel flowers for the sheets and pillowcases. Take a comforter, sew wide lace on it and spread it on top of the bed. Take one of your daughter’s dolls or teddy bears and dress them with something similar to the sheets and pillowcases and put them on the bed.
In order to be perfect pain the walls with a neutral color and cover the wood frames with fabric. Put at your little girls disposal a large chalkboard on which she can color. After you have finished with the wooden frames hang them on the wall in order to create a beautiful design.
Buy a couple of bathroom rugs and draw cats, elephants or princesses on them. Then cut out the shapes and place them between the door and the bed. Make sure the rugs have a non-skid backing.
The light in the bedroom is a very important aspect. In this case you should use a soft light; you can use a 40 watts light bulb and place it in the ceiling fixture. Place a colorful lamp on one side of the bed for reading and buy a Chinese paper globe and attach it on the ceiling. Personalize the lamp by gluing lace on the bottom of the lamp and also attach miniature animals.
Choose your curtains wisely. Look for a heavy material and personalize it with ribbons placed at the top and bottom. Remove the case of the light switch and write your little girls name using interesting letters. Make a sign for the front door and decorate it with glitter, flowers, animals and write her name using paint.
Do these things and you will have a beautiful room for your daughter, and she will be proud of the room and of you. One last thing you should take into consideration is to keep in mind what your daughter likes, if she is old enough, because it should be a reflection of her.
